Rethinking the way sales and marketing should be!!!!

We talk about brands..But how much we understand is a big question?? Can talking really big make us deliver..Why are still living in this world of dreams?? Why can't we understand that it is not a sellers market anymore ??

Selling has changed but the approach of companies is still the same..Telecalling , mailers , print ads..Does it really work ?? A combination of online & offline front is important for any marketing strategy..

Agency doesn't understand the business but still promise is more than you can deliver..Just to earn that extra from the client , they would give irrelevant things..Relationship in today's environment but we need to invest in it along with a great product and service..The worst part is not sticking the deadlines..They say its an industry standard to deliver late..Come out of it..

It is really shocking to see when people talk about re-branding & they restrict themselves to logo or tag-line redesigning..They dont understand what needs to change is the structure along with an identity change..System needs to be in place..Customer & Employee Touch points are very important in today's world..Still the Human Resource is considered more as a cost rather an investment..Its the team which delivers..Sales target are important but only the quantitative factors are considered not the qualitative.. Basics of business are never understood..

Client is looking for solutions but do we deliver on that front.."Cut Copy Paste" - Simple that's we follow in today's marketing & design context..Why because we have too much competition..Why cant we give something new & innovative to the client..Why cant the marketing communication go hand in hand with what the end user would go for?? Make it easier for the end users...What is point having a hoarding with so much content when the attention span while driving is 5-10seconds.. Gone are the days when the client would go for "Tried & Tested" Formula..

It would be nice if you could also comment on my thinking process..Opinions & Criticism are accepted...
